April Boggus has a diploma in pastry arts from the Virginia College Culinard. After graduation, she worked at a bakery in Nashville, TN, Puffy Muffin, as a baker for 18 months. She then worked as a cake decorator at Publix for 3 years. For the past 6 years she has worked at a restaurant and catering company named Lyn’s Gracious Goodness here in Huntsville. For the past 3 years she has been working as the Kitchen Manager handling day to day operations.
Daniel Godwin graduated with a Bachelor’s Degrees in Architecture and Interior Architecture from Auburn University. He then received a diploma in pastry arts from the Virginia College Culinard. Since graduation he has worked as Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Pastry Chef in multiple venues from restaurants and senior communities to bakeries and camps. Through these experiences he was able to learn management, production, and efficiency when it comes to food service.
April and Daniel met at the Virginia College Culinard where they were kitchen partners during the majority of their schooling. They kept in touch bouncing ideas and flavor creations with one another after leaving Culinard. Recently, Daniel moved back to Alabama to be closer to family and the two reconnected. They decided it was time to merge their companies and experience to bring Huntsville a new bakery offering: fresh and scratch made custom desserts for any and all occasions.
